 Above is my wholecloth quilt, printed. I call it "First Snow" and it is quilted very dense.

The day I was hanging my pieces I was lucky to have the first snowfall outside the windows.

I felt in the right place at the right time.

These two are made in the chenille technique. They are snow, lots of snow.

 This is paper on board They are my landscapes in a small size. 15x15 cm

 All is about landscapes, my inner and outer ones. 

These are  fabric and they are machine quilted

very tightly. They have the laponian colours  with a little twist

 these landscapes are A5-size,very small, and made from my own fabrics.

 They show my feelings

for the mountain I grew up near. 

It´s all different shapes and most of all, colours. The mountain

changes all the time.

Today is the day

Today is the opening of my exhibition and here you can see part of the room when I´m done
with all preparation. I am very excited and it´s a sunny day with lots of snow outside so I feel
a great welcome home from Nature. It´s like the outside is going inside. Lots of white and cold
colours. I am a very happy person today. And a bit nervous to see if anyone will attend the opening.

And I did the right thing to choose colours because it shows

Nature has fantastic ways to give us patterns to creat from. I saw these interesting traces

beneath the plane when flying up to the north the other day. What is it? No human traces

I think. For me it is an embroidery, or........

Finally

this is finally to show that my exhibition is near, very near.

 It has been a long process and I worked hard for a year but Whow! now I am ready

Venice

Visited Venice last week and came home with lots of inspirational patterns. There is shapes and

lines and patterns everywhere. A beautiful place!
