Finally

this project, The Barn Project, is over and done. Thanks to Mary Ann and John I have accomplished

this. The inside of the book will follow. Mary Ann took my hand and took me to the land of paper and making books that I have looked all over to find. Finally I found my place,thanks her.

John helped me to fill this book with art that has been travellling across the ocean again and again.

We have inspired each other and I have had a blast. I have got a new art friend through this project and we will work together again some day........

The actual book is found by my Danish friend Tina and I was a wreck!

It was hard work to transform that old photoalbum into this beauty but Mary Ann showed me what glue and beautiful paper can do.

I found these plates in Amsterdam in the Stedelijk Museum, an exhibition by

the dutch designer Marcel Wanders. There were hundreds of objects to look at

but most of all I liked these plates. Holland has a tradition of blue china and he

is playing with this

love these traditional figures that he has made blue and white,  his way

these tatoos, china-style were also a favorite of mine
