A couple of weeks ago, I travelled from the city of Stockholm to the island of 

Sandhamn, situated in the outskirts of the Stockholm archipelago.  We 

passed by so many beautiful little houses built a long time ago.

The charm was added to the fact that the summer have passed and

many of the houses are empty, waiting for next summer.

back home

trying to get the trip to Orvieto stay, I work with the travel journal

and the embroidery Pam Garrison so kindly gave us.....

Hundreds of stiches remains....

and in between the laundry and bills I have to bake my favourite bread.

In italy the bread was not my favourite. No salt added.

There used to be a tax on salt in the old days and they made

it therefor their thing.

No,  the italian breakfast is not for me.

can you imagine this. a beautiful setting in the convent with a beautiful mess

that will end up in pieces of artbooks. everyone concentrated.

ornaments/symbols

they are everywhere, especially as we lived in a convent, but also in town, all these madonnas
and christian symbols. i think it has an impact when you meet these everywhere. it´s gets you in a
pieceful mood.
