barns

I took some pics when travelling north. I did not drive the car!!!!!

but these barns are all over the countryside and to me they are so beautiful in colour and shape.

The belong to my heritage and I feel at home when I see this.

underground art

 these walls can be seen in the underground in Stockholm,Sweden. Not easy to picture so please forgive the bad lightning.

this was the floor pattern. I find the irregularity of the crosses so charming.

found a shop

in Stockholm and in the shop time had stopped a long time ago. It was tiny tiny and full of textile all over the place. As you see, every little space was filled with beuty.

I have been experimenting with printing,doodleing,stamping on fabric. Supposed to

come out as something, maybe bookcovers. Making my own books from covers to insides is my

latest desire.

this is my first book-cover made of fabric scraps. 

I have not yet stiched the signatures

but the are ready to go in. I am so pleased with the result so far and it will be so pleasing 

to have the signatures in there so I can work on the pages.

I loved this part of the book-to-be. Feels lovely to handle.
